What this notice covers
It covers personal data we handle when you enquire, when we perform an audit engagement, and when you use this website. It is written with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia) in mind. It is not a substitute for your own notices to employees whose names appear in control-application logs.
Data we collect
- Enquiry data: name, email, telephone, organisation, facility, and the message you send through the form or by email.
- Engagement data: names and roles of contacts, site addresses, and copies of logs or screenshots that may include operator identifiers if you provide them as evidence.
- Visit data: if you come to Jalan Segambut, a record of the appointment.
- Technical data: the cookie preference described in the cookie notice. We do not run advertising pixels on this site.
Why we use it
To answer enquiries, to perform the contracted audit, to invoice, to keep professional records, and to meet legal duties. We do not sell personal data. We do not use enquiry messages to train public models.
Who else may see it
Hosting and email providers who process data on our instructions. Professional advisers (for example accountants) under confidentiality. Authorities when Malaysian law requires it. Integrators or insurers only when you ask us to copy them on a pack.
If an engagement requires a specialist in another country to read a firmware excerpt, we will say so before that excerpt travels, and we will minimise names in what we send.
Retention
Unsuccessful enquiries are kept up to twenty-four months. Engagement files, including evidence needed to explain a pack, are kept for seven years after the engagement ends unless a longer period is required for a dispute or a legal hold. Cookie preference is stored in your browser until you clear it.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or limit processing of personal data we hold about you, subject to PDPA exceptions (for example where disclosure would reveal another person’s data in a log excerpt). Write to audits@dataendpointgrid.digital or to the studio address. We may need to confirm it is you.
You may decline to give optional telephone or organisation fields. Without a name, email, and a description of the application, we cannot take an enquiry seriously.
Security
Engagement files are stored with access limited to the auditors on the job. This website is informational; the enquiry form posts to a mock endpoint for demonstration of the form behaviour and should not be used to send secrets, passwords, or full packet captures. Send those through the channel named in the engagement note.
Children
Our services are for organisations. We do not seek personal data from children.
